Brett Berman is the managing partner and principal of the firm. Prior to opening the firm, Brett spent five years working for the family law firm Feinberg, Mindel, Brandt & Klein, LLP. Before becoming a lawyer, Brett served as a financial advisor with Merrill Lynch in New York City.
Brett has published articles on complex family law issues in the Los Angeles Daily Journal newspaper and lectured on divorce taxation. He has also volunteered as a Judge for the Constitutional Law Foundation annual mock trial competition held at the Los Angeles Superior Court.
On the pro bono front, Brett has worked with the Los Angeles Domestic Violence Project, an organization committed to assisting abused and indigent women obtain domestic violence restraining Orders. He is a member of the Los Angeles County Bar Association and the Beverly Hills Bar Association.
Brett is also on the Board of ACFLS Charitable Foundation, an organization dedicated to helping California families deal with issues such as domestic violence, elder abuse, broken parent-child relationships, low income divorce issues, and much more.
